Emergency Generator System Maintenance

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson is seeking a qualified maintenance contractor to perform periodic preventive maintenance on emergency generator systems and provide 24-hour emergency service. The contractor will work with the Department of Public Works to provide these services. The contract period is for one year, with an optional one-year extension. The contractor will be required to perform two visits per year to each emergency generator system, including one major preventive maintenance and one general inspection. The contractor will also be required to provide emergency service within two hours of an initial request by the Village. • The Village owns and maintains emergency generator systems at various buildings and facilities throughout the Village. • The contractor will be required to work with the Department of Public Works to provide the necessary services. • The contract period is for one year, with an optional one-year extension. • The contractor will be required to perform two visits per year to each emergency generator system. • The contractor will be required to provide emergency service within two hours of an initial request by the Village. • The Village reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional year if agreed upon by the contractor. • The Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to negotiate with any other source necessary to serve the Village's best interest.
