Maintenance for Steris Sterilizer Equipment

The St. Louis VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance services for Steris Sterilizer equipment. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, including emergencies, on the equipment. The contract will be for a period of 1 year, with renewal options for an additional 4 years. The contractor will provide OEM trained and certified service technicians, and will track and maintain historical documentation of equipment repair and parts used. The contractor will also provide OEM parts for preventive maintenance inspections, call back service, and any other required repairs. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must have access to all parts, including unique and/or high mortality replacement parts. • The contractor must use only new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or OEM-approved parts. • The contractor must provide written estimates of the cost to make necessary repairs. • The contractor must provide copies of all documentation that pertains to any hardware, software, or firmware upgrade or repair. • The contractor must ensure that the equipment functions in conformance with the latest published edition of the applicable standards.
