Description
The Town of Gaston is seeking statements of qualifications from civil engineering and/or architectural firms to provide planning, engineering design, permitting, and bidding assistance for the renovation of a former EMS building. The project includes renovating the building to enhance its functionality and efficiency while ensuring safety and accessibility for its users. The selected firm will be responsible for providing a range of services, including project plans and specifications, surveying services, construction administration, and project closeout. The firm should have experience with state and federally funded construction/renovation/rehabilitation programs and thorough knowledge of their requirements.
• The project is funded by Community Development Block Grant – Neighborhood Revitalization funds.
• The firm should have experience with NC Commerce or US Housing and Urban Development projects.
• The firm should be familiar with the project's geographic area and NC Building Code and Northampton County Building Permit Requirements.
• The firm should have a management plan and proposed staffing configurations.
• The firm should provide a proposed hourly rate for each project team member.
