The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to submit statements of qualifications for the comprehensive renovation of the George Watts Hill Alumni Center and the addition of a new UNC Welcome Center. The scope includes design services for site/civil, building envelope, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, telecommunications, structural, and cost estimation disciplines. The project budget for advance planning services is $5.5 million, with the potential for the selected firm to be retained through full design and construction phases.
