Exterior Deck Covering Solutions for Nauticus Marina Pier

The City of Norfolk is seeking information regarding exterior deck covering solutions for the existing Nauticus Marina Pier wood timber decking. The City is looking for a safe, durable, and weather-resistant covering that can be installed over the existing timber decking and withstand consistent pedestrian and cruise luggage cart traffic. The covering should be weatherproof, slip-resistant, and child-friendly, and should be able to be removed and/or replaced as necessary without major disruption. The City intends to use this information to evaluate potential solutions and determine whether a competitive solicitation should follow.
