East Airport Channel Relining (GBAP0020)

The City of Boulder City is seeking bids for the East Airport Channel Relining project, which involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project. The work includes relining of an existing deteriorating soil-cement lined channel with 6” thick Hydrotex Fabric Formed Concrete, removals, Type II aggregate base, erosion area repairs with Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM), fabric-formed cutoff walls, weepholes, existing storm drainpipe penetration connections, valley gutter, and more. The project is located between the Boulder City Municipal Airport and the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, and the contractor's vehicles and equipment must be equipped with orange and white checkered flags or flashing yellow beacons during daytime operations. The project must be completed within 150 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed, and the contractor must provide a one-year warranty for the scope of work performed. • The project involves relining a channel with Hydrotex Fabric Formed Concrete. • The contractor must comply with Clark County Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works. • The contractor must obtain a City of Boulder City Business License prior to the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must provide a certified or cashier’s check or bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of the total bid price. • The contractor must execute a written contract with the owner on the form of agreement provided within 15 calendar days after receipt of the contract from the Owner.
