Southgate Course Water Main Replacement & Road Reclamation

The City of St. Charles is seeking bids for the Southgate Course Water Main Replacement & Road Reclamation project. The project involves replacing the existing water main with a new 8” ductile iron main and abandoning the old main. The work includes traditional open-cut methods, backfilling, and full-depth reclamation of the existing bituminous pavement and underlying base materials. Additional work includes sidewalk, curb and gutter, and hydrant replacements. • The project is located in Southgate Course, Southgate Court, and Foxwood Lane. • The proposed water main will be located beneath the roadway. • The pavement will be removed and replaced with cement base stabilization. • Longmeadow Circle includes a full-depth reclamation of the existing bituminous pavement and underlying base materials to a specified depth. • Iroquois Avenue includes pavement removal and resurfacing.
