Landfill Gas to Energy Project(s) - Environmental Management

The Rowan County is seeking proposals for a Landfill Gas to Energy (LFGTE) project. The project involves the development of one or more LFGTE or other beneficial use projects utilizing landfill gas from the Rowan County Landfill. The proposal should include a design for a Gas Collection and Control System (GCCS) that meets the requirements of the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS). The GCCS should be designed to handle a maximum expected gas flow rate of 1,162 cfm and include a blower/flare station with a candlestick flare.
