Morganza to the Gulf, Upper Reach F

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is seeking information from industry for the construction of the Upper Reach F Stage 1 Levee Lift Project for the Morganza to the Gulf, Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System. The project involves the construction of almost 3 miles of earthen levee in a marsh environment. The work includes clearing and grubbing, degradation of existing levee, embankment placement, placement of geotextile, access roads, surfacing, turf establishment, and other related incidental work. • The project is located southwest of Dulac, starting approximately 13 miles south of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and running parallel to the Houma Navigation Canal. • The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. • The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 237990. • The Government intends to provide a borrow site within 20-25 miles of the project area, but the contractor may propose an alternate borrow source through the "Provision for Right of Way for Convenience".
