On Call Relief Veterinarian Services

Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service (SCRAPS) is seeking qualified, licensed veterinarians to provide on-call relief services to support shelter operations. The primary need is surgery fill-in (spay/neuter), with ancillary services including rabies vaccination, triage of injured animals, and routine physical examinations performed onsite at the SCRAPS facility. The contractor will be required to deliver services consistent with current veterinary standards of care and shelter medicine practices, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. • Provide on-call relief veterinarian services • Perform spay/neuter surgeries • Administer rabies vaccinations • Triage injured or ill animals • Perform physical exams and establish treatment plans • Maintain accurate records and reports
