BSVII - Therma and A&F Property Restoration

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is soliciting an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Therma and A&F Property Restoration project. The project involves constructing onsite and offsite improvements to restore property acquired for the relocation of utilities and to facilitate the construction of improvements included in the BART Extension Project Phase II (BSVII). The work includes constructing a paved storage area, a surface parking lot, bio retention basin, fencing, and electrical improvements. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Key aspects of the job include: • Constructing a paved storage area on the A&F property • Constructing a surface parking lot on the Therma property • Installing bio retention basins and fencing • Performing electrical improvements • Coordinating with the VTA to arrange the sequence of construction operations • Ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations • Obtaining necessary permits and licenses • Paying all connection charges and excess length charges for utility services
