7240--NX EQ Housekeeping Carts (VA-26-00014798)

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking vendors to provide Rubbermaid brand name or equal Housekeeping Carts on an agency-wide basis. The VA intends to award a Requirements Contract with Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) orders to a supplier of this equipment. Vendors will be required to deliver the Housekeeping Carts to VA medical centers and facilities throughout the United States and its territories. The contract will have a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. The contractor must demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements for the solicitation. Key features and requirements of the Housekeeping Carts include: • Ability to carry a range of cleaning supplies or tools/accessories (minimum of 3) • Ability to add an Impact-Absorbing Bumpers • Having shelves (more than 1) • Ability to add a locking door • Having a minimum of 2 shelves • Must work with Microfiber mop pads and cleaning chemicals only • Ability to provide uninterrupted supply of products on a national scale • Technical Literature that clearly shows product(s) meets the identified salient characteristics and page numbers where each salient characteristic is met.
