Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive airfield vehicle gates maintenance and repair services at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Langley Air Force Base (LAFB), Virginia. The contractor shall provide all management, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform the services. The services include maintenance and repair of eight mechanical airfield vehicle gates. The contractor must assess any emergency conditions within 24 hours of notification and accomplish all work order tasks during normal duty hours.
• The contractor must provide a firm fixed price unit/extended price for emergency repairs.
• The contractor must obtain base access and either an escort or Entry Authority List for personnel.
• The contractor can subcontract the work but is ultimately responsible for the performance/schedule.
• The Government does not have records of maintenance, and there is no incumbent or historical pricing.
