Description
The Department of Children & Family Services is seeking a contractor to provide armed security guard services for their location in Tangipahoa Parish. The contractor will be responsible for providing one uniformed, armed security officer to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The officer will be required to maintain control of visitors and vendors, perform security checks of the parking lot and building perimeter, and respond to emergencies. The contractor must have at least three years of experience in the security guard business and must provide proof of licensure from the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners.
* The contractor will be required to provide a minimum of two complete seasonal uniforms for each security officer.
* The contractor will be responsible for providing equipment, including a standard regulation weapon and a two-way radio.
* The contractor will be required to conduct background checks and drug testing for all security personnel.
* The contractor will be required to provide monthly reports and invoices for services provided.
