Description
The Navy is seeking a vacuum muffle furnace with specific requirements. The furnace must be capable of operating at a maximum temperature of 1200 Celsius or greater, and have a digital vacuum gauge. It must also be able to fit in a lab space with dimensions of 30 inch × 30 inch × 36 inch or less. The furnace should be able to hold a 12 inch x 12 inch x 12 inch assembly and have the capability for both inert gas and vacuum operation.
• The furnace must have 208V or 220V power to interface with existing electrical connections.
• The interior must be capable of holding a 12 inch x 12 inch x 12 inch assembly.
• The furnace must have a maximum temperature of 1200 Celsius or greater.
• A digital vacuum gauge must be included.
• The dimensions must be 30 inch × 30 inch × 36 inch or less.
• The furnace must have the capability for both inert gas and vacuum operation.
• In vacuum mode, the furnace must be capable of reaching 5E-4 torr or lower.
• A compatible vacuum pump with a pumping speed of 300L/min or greater is required.
