Swing Set Simms Park

The City of Southfield is seeking bids for the removal, disposal of existing outdoor equipment, and installation of new equipment, including a sidewalk leading to the structure for Simms Park. The project includes the installation of a 5-inch frame swing set with a 4-bay commercial grade, 4 swing seats, 1 baby seat, 1 inclusive seat, and accessibility seat from 6-12, all with stainless steel hardware. The successful bidder will be required to provide and install new play structures as specified, remove and properly dispose of the existing equipment, and provide a rubberized ADA accessible pad underneath the entire 4th bay. Key requirements include: • The company must have been in business under the same name for 3 consecutive years. • The company must have completed at least 3 similar projects in the last 5 years. • The company must be an authorized distributor/installer for the equipment being quoted. • The company must provide a certificate of insurance, or equivalent, evidencing coverage as outlined in the City of Southfield Insurance Requirements. • The company must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
