Bruker D8 Advance Powder X-Ray Diffractometer

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking to procure a Bruker D8 Advance Powder X-Ray Diffractometer and associated parts and support services. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Bruker AXS, LLC. The diffractometer will be used for advanced materials characterization to support ongoing research and development in materials technologies. The contractor will provide installation, commissioning, and training for the equipment, as well as maintenance and support services. Key features of the diffractometer include automatic analytic capabilities, a 3 kW generator, and a vertical goniometer. The contract has a period of performance of one year, with options for additional years. • The contractor must provide a unique item identifier for the delivered items. • The contractor must provide licenses for ICDD reference databases. • The contractor must provide all support and services included in the Bruker Complete Plus Service Plan Agreement. • The contractor must deliver the XRD System and associated materials no later than 126 days from the date of contract award. • The contractor must provide on-site training for government employees. • The contractor must provide a dedicated computer workstation pre-configured for diffractometer operation.
