Spokane County Regional Water Reclamation Facility (SCRWRF) Mural Painting

The Spokane County Regional Water Reclamation Facility (SCRWRF) is seeking a professional mural painter to create a native wetland-themed mural on an exterior wall of the facility. The mural should be visually appealing and educational, enhancing the existing exhibits in the center. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, supervision, and utilities necessary to complete the project. The contract shall be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days from the date of commencement. • The mural should be approximately 14 ft tall and 80 ft wide, covering one exterior wall with three columns. • The design and general theme should reflect water in some way, with possible themes including wastewater treatment, microorganisms, Spokane water systems, the water cycle, and/or the aquifer. • The contractor shall maintain a clean and safe work area, put materials away in between sessions, and cover any copyright laws in writing, granting copyright permission in their proposal. • The contractor shall provide multi-colored sketches of their artistic vision, brand and type of paint or other suitable materials, and ensure that all work is of good quality, free from faults and defects, and performed by skilled and qualified workers.
