Description

The City of Palm Springs seeks a qualified consulting firm to develop a comprehensive Safety Action Plan that enhances pedestrian, bicyclist, and vehicle safety across the city, updates the Traffic Calming Program, and incorporates extensive community outreach. The plan will support grant applications and provide a data‑driven framework for future safety improvements. • Conduct existing‑conditions assessment, crash data analysis, and identification of high‑injury corridors. • Design and execute a robust community‑engagement program with at least three public meetings per district and outreach to tribal, transit, and emergency stakeholders. • Evaluate and update the City’s traffic‑calming policies, develop project recommendations, cost‑benefit analyses, and produce a final CSAP ready for grant submission.

Factors influencing the range include the depth of crash‑data analysis, number of stakeholder meetings, and the level of detailed design and cost‑benefit modeling required.
