Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a contractor to provide weed and vegetation control services at the Greenville District Office Facility. The contractor will be required to supply labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals to perform the work. The scope of work includes applying herbicides according to label directions, communicating with interested parties, and resolving any claims associated with the application. The contractor must have a working knowledge of herbicides and be able to wear personal protection equipment.
The key requirements for this project include:
• Providing proof of possession of an active Commercial Applicator Permit
• Having a registered physical address within 50 miles of the Greenville District Office Facility
• Complying with all terms and conditions contained in the solicitation
• Furnishing daily herbicide reports of all applications
• Contacting ALDOT District Personnel a minimum of two days prior to performing any Vegetation Management activity
