The County of Kern is seeking to make an award for new and unused 2025 or newer model Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon Sport Utility Vehicle 4x4. The vehicle must meet specific requirements, including a cleanest emissions rated gas engine, off-road suspension, and heavy-duty trailer package. Interested bidders must review, print, and return completed specifications with bid response. The bid must include a certified emissions rating form and/or manufacturer emission form certified by the State of California. • The vehicle must be certified emissions LEV or better • The vehicle must have a Smartway designation • The vehicle must have a specific air pollution score and greenhouse gas score • The vehicle must have a specific city and highway fuel economy • The vehicle must be delivered within 120 days • The vehicle must meet specific interior and exterior requirements, including color, transmission, and wheel type
