TASK ORDER CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT RFQ

The California State University San Marcos is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested and qualified General Contractors to provide Collaborative Design-Build (BD) and Construction Manager at Risk (CM) services for the design and construction of multiple projects under a master enabling agreement. The delivery method for this contract is Task Order-Construction Agreement for Multiple Projects—Master Enabling Agreement (TO-CA MEA). The selected Respondent will collaborate with the Trustees on the design, constructability, cost, and schedule of the Project and develop a Lump Sum Price or GMP proposal to construct the Project. The projects may include, but are not limited to, Campus Circuits Replacement, Science 1 Fume Hood Replacement, Lighting Control Replacement, and Fire Alarm Upgrades. • The Total Maximum Budgeted Cost for all Projects shall not exceed $30,000,000. • No single project shall exceed $7,000,000 in Total Budgeted Cost. • The General Contractor shall be licensed in the State of California with a ‘B’ license. • The Architect on the General Contractor’s team shall be licensed to practice architecture in the State of California. • Both General Contractor and Architect must be prequalified with the Capital Planning, Design and Construction Department of the CSU Office of the Chancellor.
