The Richland‑Lexington Airport District is soliciting design‑build proposals to create, engineer, fabricate, and install an architectural barrier enhancement system that will fill the existing openings in the reinforced concrete barrier wall separating the elevated Departures Level roadway from the grade below at Columbia Metropolitan Airport. This effort aims to improve safety, aesthetics, and structural integrity of the departure roadway enclosure.
