Non-functional Turf Conversion Projects

The City of Roseville is seeking proposals for Non-Functional Turf Conversion Projects, which involve the conversion of non-functional turf areas in street landscape areas to more water-efficient landscapes. The contract will prioritize state-mandated non-functional turf conversions and will include services such as demo and removal of existing material, site preparation, conversion of overhead irrigation systems, and infill planting and bark installation. The contract has an initial term and four optional one-year renewals. The City is looking for a contractor who can provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools needed to perform the services outlined in the contract. • The contract will require the contractor to attend a mandatory pre-proposal conference and job walk. • The contractor will be required to provide a point person for the City to communicate with regarding project progress and issues. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness on the job site and removing all rubbish and debris. • The contractor will be required to provide weekly work plans for each type of work activity to designated City staff. • The contract will require the contractor to comply with all local, state, and federal codes, rules, and regulations.
