Water Fixture Replacement Bid- Columbus City Schools Bid Package 1

The Ohio Lead Testing in Schools and Child Care Facilities Program is seeking a contractor to replace water fixtures at 19 schools in Columbus, Ohio. The contractor must have a valid Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board (OCILB) Plumbing Contractor License and hold a Contractor's Registration for plumbing in Franklin County and/or the City of Columbus. The contractor will be responsible for pre-planning and permitting, replacing fixtures, disposing of waste, and submitting an invoice for payment. The project includes replacing 78 faucets and fixtures at 19 school buildings. • The contractor must provide proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must use approved and compliant faucets and fixtures that meet the certification requirements. • The contractor must notify Tetra Tech of the intended replacement fixture for approval before installation. • The contractor must acquire all applicable permits prior to fixture replacement. • The contractor must remove and properly dispose of any original fixtures and/or other plumbing materials. • The contractor must submit photographs of the completed work to Tetra Tech.
