LSD-47 20 GALLON AND 40 GALLON KETTLE; REPLACE

The US Navy is planning to issue a competitive solicitation to replace 20-gallon and 40-gallon kettles on the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47). The solicitation will be issued to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and capable Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders in Japan only. The performance period is planned from 10/12/2026 to 7/31/2027, and the place of performance will be Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan. • The solicitation is for a competitive bid. • The work will be performed in Japan. • The contractor must meet the necessary criteria and provide documentation to demonstrate authorization to perform this work in Japan. • The US Government is not bound to award a contract based on this notice.
