Description
The State of California Department of Transportation is seeking bids for two brand‑new, battery‑electric, sub‑compact street sweepers (2.5 cubic‑yard hopper). The equipment must meet detailed technical specifications, include a 60 kWh Li‑FePO₄ or Li‑ion battery, on‑board Level 2 charger, and a full suite of operator cab and sweeping system features. Delivery is required within 300 calendar days ARO, with a pre‑delivery inspection and final acceptance at the Caltrans receiving facility in Sacramento. The contract includes an option to increase the quantity up to five units and up to 10 % of the bid amount for state‑requested options or upgrades.

• Must include warranty (1 yr parts & labour, ≥3 yr battery) and a California‑based service provider.
• All bids submitted via email; award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on an “all‑or‑none” basis.
