514) Addendum 1 (Vandiver Drive Sidewalk Project

The City of Columbia is seeking bids for the construction of a sidewalk along Vandiver Drive. The project includes the installation of a 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk, a signalized pedestrian crossing, and other related work. The contractor will be required to perform the work in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. The project is partially financed through the Missouri Department of Transportation/Federal Highway Administration. • The project requires the contractor to comply with various regulations, including prevailing wage laws, anti-discrimination laws, and Buy America provisions. • The contractor must also provide a bid bond, performance bond, and labor and material payment bond. • The project has a DBE goal of 0%. • The contractor must complete the work within 90 calendar days. • The project includes a pre-bid meeting, which is strongly encouraged but not mandatory. • The contractor must submit their bid online or by mail, and the bid must be received by the City of Columbia by the deadline. • The City of Columbia reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
