The contract includes insurance requirements and a maximum $25 pickup fee per service call. • Scope covers monitors, TVs, computers, printers, phones, batteries, lamps/bulbs, and miscellaneous electronics. • Pricing is per‑pound or per‑item; zero price must be entered for items offered at no charge. • Contract period: 1 year, renewable up to 2 additional years with fixed percentage adjustments. • Mandatory compliance with District safety, hygiene, and data‑access policies. • All communications must be routed through the e‑bid system; no direct contact with District staff allowed.

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $200,000

Based on typical municipal e‑waste recycling contracts of similar scope, the annual spend for a district of ~24,500 students usually falls between $50,000 and $200,000. The range depends on volume of electronics generated, per‑pound rates, and any pickup fees. Larger districts with higher device turnover push the high end, while modest recycling volumes stay near the low end.
