Chromatography System

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a preparative scale High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) System for natural products discovery. The system should be modular, with the ability to upgrade specific options in the future. The minimum requirements include a UV-Vis detector, an Evaporative Light Scattering Detector, a controller, and all necessary tubing and accessories. The system must have multiple pumps, or a single pump capable of generating gradients from multiple inputs, and support flow rates from 1.0 ml/min to 150 ml/min. The HPLC system will be used for laboratory purposes and should not be connected to the internet or local area network. • The system should have a fraction collector with the ability to accommodate various standard test tube sizes. • The solvent delivery system should operate in constant flow or constant pressure modes. • The pumps must have a high flow rate accuracy and come equipped with a suction filter. • The system should have a column selector with the ability to select and switch between at least three different columns. • The vendor should provide technical installation and initial testing of the system, including basic training on the software used to control the system.
