Construction Manager Services for Bus Stop Improvements Project (Rebid)

The City of Gainesville is seeking a Construction Manager to provide oversight and support for the Bus Stop Improvements Project, which includes improvements at 95 bus stops in Phase 2 and 83 bus stops in Phase 3. The Construction Manager will be responsible for pre-construction services, construction phase services, compliance and documentation, and final inspections and closeout. The project is funded by the Federal Transit Administration and has a combined budget for Construction Manager Services of $190,154.90 for both phases. • The project includes two phases, with Phase 2 having a total construction budget of $1,050,204.58 and Phase 3 having a total construction budget of $851,344.45. • The Construction Manager will ensure that the work complies with the City of Gainesville Engineering & Design Construction Manual, FDOT Accessing Transit Design Handbook, and applicable ADA standards. • The Construction Manager will provide ongoing field and administrative support throughout construction, including field inspections, utility coordination, and issue resolution. • The Construction Manager will maintain a master tracking system for all bus stops and provide recommendations to optimize sequencing and minimize disruptions to transit operations.
