Derelict Vessel Removal, Transport, and Disposal- Mojoe

The Escambia County Marine Resources Division is seeking a contractor to remove, transport, and dispose of a derelict vessel named Mojoe, which is currently located in Bayou Chico. The contractor will be responsible for floating, removing, transporting, and disposing of the vessel at the Perdido Landfill. The contractor must provide a total price for the removal, transportation, and disposal of the vessel. The project is expected to be completed within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The contractor will be required to photo-document the removal process and provide daily written reports to the County. • The contractor must have the necessary equipment and expertise to remove the vessel without causing damage to the surrounding environment. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and safety. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and meet the County's insurance requirements. • The contractor must register with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify System to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired during the contract term.
