Generator Switchgear Battery Replacement Project Heartland

The State of Ohio – Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a qualified vendor to provide all labor, materials, and services required for the replacement of generator switchgear batteries at the facility. The scope of work includes replacing 37 batteries, safely removing existing batteries, installing new batteries, performing functional testing, and providing a written performance report. The vendor must be an authorized provider or installer for the batteries being supplied, or demonstrate equivalent qualifications. The work must comply with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA safety standards. • The project requires the replacement of 37 batteries to restore the complete 48V switchgear battery bank. • The vendor must provide all necessary equipment, supervision, and expertise to complete the work. • The work must be performed in a manner that minimizes disruption to facility operations. • The vendor must provide a written performance report confirming system reliability and compliance with manufacturer standards. • The vendor must coordinate all onsite work with the facility's designated point of contact.
