Description
The Rusk County Jail is seeking bids for a plumbing remodel project. The project includes replacing and modernizing current fixtures, mixing valves, plumbing, and drains within the jail. The scope of work includes removing and replacing toilets, sinks, urinals, shower drains, and valves, as well as repairing floors and tiles. The project also includes installing new piping, pipe insulation, and replacing faucets. The successful bidder will be required to complete the project by July 1, 2026.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Replacing 4 toilets, 4 toilet carriers, 4 hung sinks, 4 urinals, 10 shower drains, and 10 shower valves
• Installing new Acorn stainless steel fixtures
• Replacing piping and copper piping in the chase
• Installing new mixing valves with locking cabinets
• Replacing the Nursing office faucet with a sensor faucet
• Installing pipe insulation to cut down on condensation
