The Community College of Aurora is seeking a Design/Build Entity to provide complete professional design, construction, and commissioning services for the Campus Safety and Security Project. The project aims to address critical safety and security vulnerabilities across the campus facilities, including aging and structurally compromised exterior doors, obsolete access-control systems, and limited access-control coverage. The selected entity will be responsible for replacing and securing exterior doors, adding electronic access-control systems, upgrading and expanding the key card access-control system, and installing crash-rated bollards. The project will be delivered using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach, with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract. The scope of services includes design, construction, and commissioning, with a focus on providing a safe and secure campus environment.
