Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a sole source acquisition for new Air Force Reserve Recruiting badges and stars. The badges are required uniform items for all Air Force Reserve recruiters and their assigned uniformed support staff. The new badge design will adopt the features of the active component's Air Force Recruiting badge while retaining the Air Force Reserve logo. The updated badge will also introduce a new recognition system using stars to denote individual recruiter achievements. The contract will be awarded to NLS Specialties Inc, the sole manufacturer of the badges for over 20 years, due to their exclusive ownership of proprietary tooling and their ability to maintain program continuity and uniformity.
