Lafitte Cove Dredging - Re-Solicit

Escambia County is seeking a licensed marine contractor with dredging experience to dredge the entryway of Lafitte Cove Canal. The contractor will mechanically dredge within the permitted 200’ x 65’ area to -5.0’ Mean Low Water at the entrance of Lafitte Cove Canal. The estimated dredged quantity per dredge event is approximately 800 cubic yards. The dredged material will be transported to an upland site located south of Pensacola Beach Blvd. Water Towers. • The contractor must have experience with similar dredging projects within the past three years. • The contractor must verify that all required permits are active. • The contractor must transport and discharge the dredged materials to the pre-determined upland transport site. • The contractor must provide evidence of insurance and bonds as required by the County.
