Aviation Memberships

Virginia Tech’s Air Transportation Services department is seeking proposals from qualified aviation service providers to create a structured aviation membership program that gives the university enhanced access to private‑aviation services. The program will cover domestic, primarily Eastern‑U.S., travel for 1‑8 passengers per flight, using mid‑size aircraft, and is expected to support roughly 200 flight hours per year (based on historic usage of the university’s own aircraft). The vendor must define membership models, provide transparent pricing, ensure FAA Part 135 compliance, and deliver 24/7 support and dedicated account management. The contract will begin with a one‑year base term and may be extended up to four additional one‑year renewals.
