The Office of Emergency Management (NYCEM) is seeking a qualified vendor to update and modernize the Notify NYC iOS/Android applications. The current version of the app only supports English, and NYCEM wants to add multilingual support to increase participation and effective messaging. The vendor should be able to update/modernize the existing features of the app and add new features, including offline mode, message sharing, and emergency plans. The contract term is anticipated to be five years with two two-year renewal options. • The Notify NYC app is used for emergency alerts and important services. • The app needs to be redesigned to accommodate multiple languages. • The vendor should have experience in designing, implementing, or modernizing an app of similar size and complexity. • The vendor should have experience in operating, managing, and maintaining a multilingual app. • The vendor should provide comprehensive training on the Notify NYC program.
