Bulk 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite and Delivery

The City of Palo Alto, Regional Water Quality Control Plant (RWQCP) is seeking quotations for the procurement and delivery of Bulk 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite. The quantity specified under this contract is approximate and may be increased or decreased in any amount to conform to the needs of the RWQCP. The plant estimates usage of sodium hypochlorite to be approximately 130,000 gallons per year. The supplier shall assume all deliveries will be split between two locations. Renewable fuel for delivery trucks is required. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing Bulk 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite that meets American Water Works Association (AWWA) standard number B-300-18 • Delivering the chemical to two separate locations within the RWQCP • Providing a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) from the original manufacturer of the chemical • Providing weight scale certificate, bill of lading, and certificate of analysis with each shipment • Complying with the City's safety procedures for safe unloading at all times
