Request for Proposals for Engineering Services for Infrastructure Drainage Project

The City of New Albany is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide Engineering services for an infrastructure drainage project with potential funding from the Appalachian Regional Commission, Delta Regional Authority, and/or other federal/state funding agencies. The scope of work includes preparing a preliminary cost estimate, preliminary Engineering report, plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening, and performing construction inspection. The City of New Albany encourages Minority owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Woman owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit proposals. Proposals will be evaluated on the following factors: Qualifications, Experience, and Capacity for Performance. • The Engineer will be responsible for performing all Engineering services through project closeout. • The scope of work includes preparing a preliminary cost estimate, preliminary Engineering report, plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening, and performing construction inspection. • Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked with the following language: “Proposal for ARC/DRA Engineering Services.” • The City of New Albany reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
