3825--Street Sweeper

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources capable of providing a Street Sweeper for New Mexico VA Medical Centers. The sweeper must meet certain salient characteristics, including having a high-pressure washer, fire extinguisher, variable sweeping width, rear safety camera, fully legal street lighting, retractable wander hose, diesel engine, air conditioning, air ride suspension cab seat, and dust control system. The contractor must also provide a standard manufacturer industry warranty term and an additional one-year warranty with full coverage. * The sweeper must have a minimum of 195 L water tank capacity * The sweeper must have a dust control system to reduce water consumption and extend the time between refills * The sweeper must have a misting system to efficiently suppress dust and contribute to cleaner streets and improved air quality * The contractor must deliver the sweeper to the VA Phoenix Health Care System, 1501 San Pedro Drive, Southeast, Albuquerque, NM 87108 * The contractor must provide a capabilities statement illustrating how their organization can meet the list of draft/salient characteristics/SOW requirements
