NGDISM - Gas Replacement

The City of Carencro is seeking qualified contractors to replace approximately 30,000 linear feet of 2‑inch cast‑iron gas main with 2‑inch polyethylene (PE) gas main, install about 300 service taps with roughly 21,400 linear feet of 1‑inch PE service line, and complete associated regulator and coulee work. The project includes base work and two optional alternates covering additional regulator removals and extra subsurface crossings. The contract period is 210 working days, and bids are to be submitted electronically or in‑person by the deadline. • Replace ~30,000 ft of 2″ cast‑iron gas main with 2″ PE pipe. • Install ~300 service taps and ~21,400 ft of 1″ PE service line. • Perform one subsurface coulee crossing and remove one existing gas regulator station (Base); Alternates: remove four regulator stations & relocate one, or add three subsurface coulee crossings. • Contract schedule: 210 working days; Pre‑bid conference (non‑mandatory) on July 16 2026; Bid deadline July 30 2026, 2 PM CDT.
