Description
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for scale maintenance services for the Terra Linda Platform Scales and St. Vincent’s Platform Scales. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform the scope of work. The scope of work includes maintenance and repair of the scales, as well as any other related services. The contract term is expected to be from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2029.
• The contractor must possess a valid C-61/D-21 Machinery and Pumps License and be registered with the DIR.
• The contractor must also have a past record of sound business integrity and history of being responsive to past contractual obligations.
• The contractor will be required to provide proof of liability insurance that meets the requirements outlined in the contract.
• The contractor will also be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to prevailing wage rates and public works contractor registration.
