The Town of Ayer is seeking a qualified vendor to supply a complete self‑contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) system for its fire department, including associated cylinders, rapid‑intervention‑team kits, Pak‑Tracker locating equipment, facepieces, and mandatory on‑site training. The contract requires delivery of 32 SCBA units, 3 RIT kits, 67 cylinders (both 45‑ and 60‑minute), a Pak‑Tracker handheld receiver with batteries, and all necessary accessories, together with a full warranty and technical support. The successful bidder must also conduct four hands‑on training sessions—one for each of the department’s working groups—covering operation, inspection, emergency procedures, and maintenance, all at no additional cost.
