AIS Base Station Upgrade

The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation Contracting Office intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract for the Automatic Identification System (AIS) Base Station Upgrade. The contract is for vessel traffic management along the U.S. portion of the St. Lawrence Seaway. The key aspects of the job include: • Upgrading the AIS Base Station • Configuring the system to work with the St Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation's (SLSMC) network • Ensuring the system meets the agency's requirements for vessel traffic management The contract will be awarded to ICAN, Inc., as they are the only source responsible and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency's requirements.
