Elevated Steel Water Tank Exterior Painting & Renovation

The City of Lake City is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the exterior surface preparation, painting, and incidental repair of the City’s elevated steel potable water storage facility. The successful contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the project. The scope of work includes surface preparation, coating application, repairs, environmental protection, and other related requirements. The project is expected to last 90 days, and the contractor must perform the work in accordance with the specifications and regulations provided. • The contractor must have experience in exterior surface preparation, painting, and repair of elevated steel water tanks. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, codes, ordinances, rules, and regulations. • The contractor must have the necessary personnel, facilities, abilities, and financial resources to perform the work in a satisfactory manner. • The contractor must possess any and all required licenses to perform and complete the work necessary in this project. • The contractor must assign an “on-duty” supervisor who speaks and reads English. • The contractor must have its employees refrain from the use of tobacco products in the City’s buildings or grounds.
