Description

The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) is conducting market research for wearable and attachable sensors capable of collecting, transmitting, and integrating data about the operational environment, personnel disposition, equipment status, and exposure to CBRN threats. The ideal system should be able to monitor a broad range of markers concurrently with low Size, Weight, and Power (SWAP) attributes. Some of the key parameters to be monitored include blood pressure, cardiac output, peripheral oxygen saturation, and cerebral edema indicators. The system should also be able to detect and alert on deviations from established baselines, identify potential CBRN exposure based on physiological changes, and predict the likelihood of performance degradation. • The system should be capable of real-time, continuous monitoring and display of various physiological and environmental parameters. • The system should be able to detect and alert on deviations from established baselines. • The system should be able to identify potential CBRN exposure based on physiological changes. • The system should be able to predict the likelihood of performance degradation. • The system should be able to monitor and display levels of various hazard exposure indicators. • The system should be able to implement algorithms for advanced data analysis and cognitive monitoring.

Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $10,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate as it is a Request for Information (RFI) and not a formal solicitation. However, based on the complexity of the system and the requirements specified, it is likely that the budget will be in the range of $1 million to $10 million. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of systems to be developed, the level of customization required, and the duration of the contract.
