Description
The Virginia Department of Health is soliciting quick‑quote bids for the installation, disconnection, and abandonment of community wells in the Luray eastern cluster. The work includes three distinct sites: two new well installations/disconnections and one well abandonment, each located in Luray, VA. Contractors will be responsible for all field activities, equipment mobilization, compliance with state health and environmental regulations, and final site restoration.
• Install new community wells at 296 Shenandoah Dr and 458 Kibler Dr, including all associated piping, pumps, and control systems.
• Disconnect existing wells at the same locations, ensuring safe de‑commissioning and proper disposal of equipment.
• Abandon an existing well at 358 Lauck Lane, performing plug‑back and site remediation.
• Meet all applicable Virginia Department of Health standards and deliver completed work within the contract period.
