The City of Salina is seeking a qualified engineering consulting firm to replace three deteriorated 28‑in × 40‑in culverts on Fairdale Road. The consultant will evaluate replacement alternatives, update hydraulic analyses, develop design plans and specifications, coordinate easement acquisition, and manage utility relocations. The work is phased from design kickoff in November 2026 through design completion in April 2027, followed by construction advertising and bidding in 2027. This opportunity is ideal for firms with storm‑water design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and easement/utility coordination experience.
• Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, referencing the 2008 drainage study and downstream 2023 box culvert.
• Produce full design package (plans, specs, bidding documents) and assist with easement acquisition and utility relocation.
• Deliver phased deliverables culminating in a design‑complete package by early April 2027, enabling construction advertising and bid letting in May 2027.
